The Friends of the St. Charles District Library is a non-profit organization that believes in the importance of a quality local library.

Friends activities include fund raisers such as book sales, quilt raffle, bake sales, volunteer service in the library, and committee participation.

The money raised from fund raisers is used to buy materials for programs for both children and adults, books, and special equipment for the library that could not otherwise be purchased out of the regular library budget.

The Friends meet four times a year.  Special meetings may be called if the need arises.  All meetings are held at the library.

If you are interested in joining the Friends of the Library or volunteering your time, please attend the next meeting (check events calendar),  call the St. Charles District Library at (989) 865-9371 or simply click on the membership application form and submit the completed form to the library.
