St. Charles District Library receives grant

St. Charles, Michigan – The St. Charles District Library received a $5,050.00 grant from the Saginaw Community Foundation for the library’s STEM Program scheduled to begin in October 2017.

The STEM program will allow young patrons to experience science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with fun, hands-on activities.  The grant will allow the library to purchase a 3-D printer, Chromebooks, KEVA planks, electronic kits for engineering and Raspberry Pi III kits for computer coding.

The grant will help make it possible for the St. Charles District Library to become an engaging and interactive learning space.

The Saginaw Community Foundation awards grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, local units of government and religious institutions.
