 The St. Charles District Library is seeking qualified applications for the following position:

POSITION:           Circulation Clerk/Page (download the job complete job description here)

JOB DUTIES:       Works primarily with the public at the circulation desk with some additional clerical and housekeeping responsibilities.

HOURS:                6-12 hours per week, including some evenings and Saturday.  Additional shifts as needed by the library.

RATE OF PAY:     $9.45 an hour
                                   Minors 16-17 year of age $8.04 (85% of minimum hourly wage rate)
                                    Training wage of $4.25 per hour will be paid to employees 16 to 19 years
                                     of age for the first 90 days of employment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:     High School Diploma or equivalent education/work experience.  Good customer service skills – friendly, energetic.  Proven skill with Microsoft Word, Internet, and Email Experience with business phones and machines such as scanners.  See job description for more detail.
